The name Caerhead is derived from the Sylvin language, as Caerhead was founded by Shè Taylor-Johnson, who was culturaly Sylvin.
Climate
Caerhead has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 33°C (91°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 24°C (75°F). Caerhead receives an average of 148 cm/y (58 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Caerhead covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3010 m (9875 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Caerhead was founded durring the late 12th century in fall of the year 1075, by Shè Taylor-Johnson. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Shè Taylor-Johnson.
Caerhead was built using the conventions of Sylvin durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Caerhead is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Caerhead is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt cobblestone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Caerhead's size could have. The well-designed, yet cheep have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
Caerhead has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Caerhead ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Likely due to this, Caerhead is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to have homes. One cannot help but wonder what Caerhead was like during the glorydays.
Civic Infrastructure
Caerhead has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Caerhead.

Caerhead has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Caerhead has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Caerhead's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Caerhead possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Caerhead's grid is powered by a god's will and kindness.
Caerhead possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. In spite of the Galvanic Grid, these lights continue to use their old fule sources to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
Caerhead has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Caerhead has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Caerhead is home to a distinct subculture, who are either the majority here or have the dominant positions in the community. Architecture, local laws, and social customs are all tuned to suit them, and they may not be particularly forgiving or friendly to the major culture of the region. Communities that are not outright independent usually make an arm's-length submission to a local lord.
Caerhead's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .
